Visit Seattle is thrilled to introduce the Seattle Destination Training program, a complimentary online educational platform tailored for travel professionals. This initiative aims to provide deep insights and practical skills for promoting Seattle’s unique offerings to tourists.

Scheduled to start on March 31, this self-directed course delivers extensive knowledge on Seattle’s array of attractions, cultural vibrancy, and scenic beauty. The training comprises four meticulously crafted modules:

• Seattle’s Spirit: Sports & Events – A detailed exploration of Seattle’s dynamic sports landscape and its yearly cultural events, from Seahawks games to local festivals.
• Mastering the Art of Selling Seattle – Techniques and tips for effectively marketing Seattle’s distinctive attractions to prospective visitors.
• Exploring the Great Outdoors: Seattle’s Adventure Guide – A detailed overview of the outdoor pursuits and scenic wonders accessible in and near Seattle.
• Savoring Seattle: A Culinary Journey – A dive into Seattle’s celebrated culinary scene, featuring its iconic seafood and famous coffee establishments.

Participants who complete the course will be awarded the “Seattle Certified” designation, recognizing them as knowledgeable insiders capable of crafting bespoke Seattle travel experiences tailored to their clients’ tastes.
